HIGGINS, Edward Jess Sr. - January 28, 1956 - April 8, 2005 Edward "Eddie" Jess Higgins Sr. was born on January 28, 1956 in San Francisco, CA. Eddie passed away peacefully with his parents, William and Rosario Higgins at his side, Friday April 8, 2005. Eddie graduated from Terra Nova High School in 1974. He was a merchant seaman and long time rigger and boilermaker. Ed was an avid fisherman and loved camping. He spent most of his time on the road looking for peaceful places to fish and do what he loved best. Ed is known for his sense of humor and charismatic charm. He would fill a room with laughter no matter what burden he might be shouldering. Eddie is survived by his sons and daughter: Edward Jess Higgins Jr., Matthew Higgins and Meagan Tippie; his parents William and Rosario Higgins; his sisters and brothers-in-law: Frances Higgins, Susan and Chris Kirby, Beth and Michael Doherty; and nephews, Bryce and Trevor Doherty. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Eddie will be missed, but never forgotten... A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Sat, April 16, 2005, St. Peter's Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd. Pacifica, CA.
