Francisco Alcantar Obituary

Francisco Javier Alcantar
April 11, 1948 - December 28, 2020
Francisco Javier Alcantar, known to his loved ones as Paco or Franco, died on December 28th, 2020. Born on April 11th, 1948 in Durango, Mexico, Franco was born one of five children. He immigrated to San Francisco in 1967 where his hard-working nature led him to open his own restaurant with family. Franco founded and operated El Super Burrito in 1977 for 40 years. He was a true depiction of the American Dream.

Franco was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. A respected member of the Millbrae community, he was revered for his generosity and kindness by those who knew him. Franco loved mountain biking, racquetball, learning new languages, and making friends with his customers. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose, his mother, Socorro, and his brother, Jose. Franco was a wonderful and loving father. He is survived by his children Karla, Christopher, Regina, and Bruno, his wife Sandra, and grandson Kairo. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten by his family and friends.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
