Harry Tajima

Harry Akihiko Tajima July 20, 1928 - April 11, 2010 Resident of Lafayette An all-round "good-guy", loving father, and friend, Harry's favorite pastimes included golf, cars, gardening, spending time with family, and holding his grandson. He did all the things loving parents do to raise their kids. Harry is survived by his wife, Jean; his siblings, Sachi Yamada, Roy Tajima & wife Okimi, and Sumi Uchida & husband Jim; son, A.J.; daughter-in-law, Julie Goto; daughter, Jill; son-in-law, Keith Onodera; and grandson, Drew. Following his service in the Korean War, he worked in the insurance field, and started his own insurance agency in San Francisco lasting 36 years. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service, Saturday, April 24th, 2010, 2:30pm, at: Japanese American Religious & Cultural Center, 3165 Treat Boulevard, Concord.
