Robt. D.Hardy, Jack, "the steady Electrician´s Team" & I - we created a game saying when a big job would show up - Jack believed in miracles, saying they´re on the way, and when..." (and they did)! His positivity in all things is very missed!!!

I love you Papa! I still feel him near me when I play his songs on the piano. I miss hearing the harmonica. But someday I'll hope for a date again at "nine O'clock on a Saturday," when I'll have my "old man sitting next to me" again--(words we would sing from Billy Joel's Piano Man). Papa was not only a grandpa, but a dear friend who knew how to make people feel important.

I will miss sitting on the porch talking to Papa about the events of the day. He really loved having us come by and talk.

Our hearts and prayers are with Jack Peters' friends and family. As an in-law relative, I didn't get to know "Jeff's dad" awefully well, though would have welcomed the opportunity. I remember him as a fun and enjoyable person to be around and know his family is a remarkable family. God Bless.

Papa always gave me hope to accomplish my dreams and goals. He helped me realize who I wanted to be and gave me the desire to become it. He understood me in areas of my life that others never will. We both love music and history and we're both bad at algebra. :) I'm grateful for his optimism, his strength and his love. Thankyou Papa for believing in me, Thankyou for pushing me to be better, and thankyou for loving me. Forever Yours, Heidi.

Jack Lorin Peters was my grandfather. A very wonderful man. He taught me to love music and it has impacted my entire life. My family and I will miss him very much!- Hillary Elizabeth Peters Hess, Warren, Cassidy and Cade Hess

Papa Jack was great at making me feel loved and accepted. I always enjoyed our "spiritual" talks, his counsel me to "slow down!" and his love for music. The way he encouraged the girls to play and sing has been a great blessing in all our lives.

We'll miss our cousin and surragate brother. But thanks to Jack, we still have all his family to call our own. God bless Jack and all of his family.
