September 24, 1929 - November 16, 2022
Kay was born September 24, 1929, and passed away November 16, 2022. A native San Franciscan and a devote Catholic, she received her education from Star of the Sea Academy. Kay worked in retail, banking, the janitors union, the wine advisory board, and the Jesuit Society. She is survived by her nieces Laurie Williams and Barbara Harrington, her nephew Michael Harrington, and other relatives and friends. Kay was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie who emigrated from County Cork, Ireland, in the early 1900s, her sisters Marie, Eileen, Josephine, Sister Anne, CSJ, Dolores, and her brother John.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, 1111 Gough St., San Francisco. Committal is at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 11999 Chalon Road, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
