Nancy Ahern Obituary

AHERN, Nancy Carol - Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Nancy Carol Ahern passed away surrounded by family and friends after a long illness on September 1, 2005 at the age of 71. Born in San Francisco on May 11, 1934, to parents Amelia and Henry Buffalow, Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Clarence John Ahern of Redwood City; sons, Michael and wife Cherie Ahem of El Granada, Gary and wife Connie Ahern of Woodside; brother, Henry and wife Susan Buffalow of Cupertino; and her granddaughters Michelle and Meagan Ahern. Nancy, a 52 year resident of Redwood City retired from the Sequoia Union High School District keeping a passion for antiques, friends, her garden, travel, and organizing family events. There will be no funeral at the family's request however a Memorial Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 25, 2005 at 1 PM in Woodside, CA. Family requests donations be made to the Nancy Ahern Scholarship Fund at either Sequoia High School, Redwood City or Alta Vista High School, Mountain View.
