Zeida Dominguez Obituary

Zeida A. Dominguez Jan. 1, 1930 - Feb. 7, 2011 Zeida died peacefully in her sleep at home, surrounded by her loving family, after learning only five days earlier that she had leukemia. Zeida immigrated from Cuba in 1961 and made her home in Daly City. She earned her business degree in Havana and had a twenty five year career with the Bank of America. She is survived by her loving husband Ramon, married for 54 years, her son Ramon and her daughter Haydee. She will be dearly missed by her granddaughter Lizzi, her grandson Matt, her son-in-law John, her sister Haydee and her brother-in-law Luis Valdes of Miami. Zeida loved to travel which she thoroughly enjoyed with her husband for the past 25 years. Spending time with her family and friends brought her tremendous joy. She is already dearly missed. For those who wish to memorialize her, a donation to the charity of their choice would be ideal. Friends may visit on February 9th, from 4pm to 9 pm and are invited to attend a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Duggans Serra Family Mortuary in Daly City. A Funeral Mass will be held on February 10th at 10:30 am at Saint Andrew's Church in Daly City.

Haydee, my deepest sympathies for your loss. If it helps, solace can be found when losing a parent by knowing that their influence lives on as we do our best to be good parents ourselves.
