Rachel Sanchez Obituary
Rachel Marie Sanchez was born
January 9, 1934 and passed away on Sunday June 29, 2014. She was 80 years old. Rachel was a resident of La Puente, CA for 57 years. She is survived by her children: Barbara Wood, Louis Sanchez, Benito Sanchez, Jr., Lydia Sanchez and 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Rachel passed away at Citrus Valley Hospice in Covina, CA surrounded by all of her children and grandchildren.
Rachel was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in San Jose, CA. She was a devoted wife to the late Benito Sanchez, Sr. Rachel retired from the Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District as a school bus driver. Rachel was known for generosity with different charities. She loved life, her dog "Gigi", and especially her family.
Viewing will take place on Thursday July 10th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Mortuary. Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 10:00 a.m., at Saint Elizabeth - 1835 Larkvane Rd. Rowland Heights, CA 91748.
