The Parisy Family and the daughters of the Cross: Our deepest sympathy. Sr. Mary Louise has touched so many lives. I will always remember her cheerfulness and dedication. If Sister ever had a down moment I don't think she ever showed it. It was a pleasure to know her and work with her.

My husband, 2 grown children, grandchildren and I will miss Sister Mary Louise. She was a dear friend to so many of our Good Shepherd Parishioners in Monroe. So pleased that I had a nice visit with her in March. She always talked about her wonderful years in Monroe, Marksville and Lake Providence, we loved her as much as she loved us. The Daughters of the Cross have a special place in my heart.

My prayers and thoughts are with you as you go through this time of sorrow. Sr. Mary Louise was my First Grade teacher and I always wanted to be JUST like her. I can remember playing school as a little girl. Of course I was ALWAYS Sister Mary Louise!!! Now I am a teacher! I was always impressed because whenever I saw her, she remembered me, no matter how many years went by. She was a special person and left many fond memories. She will be missed by many.

Prayers and sympathy! I was Mary Lou's classmate at SVA. Then and all her life she was always a joyful person. Mary Lou was a happy, peaceful person.
To the Daughters of the Cross and to the whole Parisy family I extend my prayers and sympathy. Even in your sorrow you must know joy as you remember the gift Mary Lou was to all of us and know that she now enjoys eternal peace.

A lovely person, always with a gracious smile and a quick inquiry as to how one and one's family was doing. She will be missed by all who experienced her friendship.

It was sad to read of Sr. Mary Louise's death. Our class (St. Vincent's 1945) is still in touch and close in thought though distant in miles. It has been several years since I saw "Mary Lou".

She entered the convent when we were still in high school, which some of us found hard to understand, but obviously she had a true vocation to the religious life and went on to affect the lives of so many students.

And I never knew she was a member of the Choctaw tribe! How wonderful to be part of America's first people!

It was my good fortune and joy to be a classmate of Mary Louise at St.Vincent's. I can still see her in her Postulant dress. She was fun, had a beautiful smile and in her own way added much to our class. We met later in life at the same meeting of Religious Leaders and that brought back many fond memories.
My condolences to you, her family, and we know that we are all one family in God's Good Creation.
I will both pray for her and turn to her.

Sister Mary Louise was my principal at Jesus the Good Shepherd in Monroe. I remember her as a warm, kind person who was well liked by students and parents. She was not a "scary" principal, she truly seemed to enjoy the children. I cannot remember her without a smile. My prayers are with Sister Mary Louise, and also with her family and friends. My hope is that her loved ones find comfort in knowing what a positive impact she had on the people she encountered throughout her life.

Sr. Mary Louise taught me in second grade. I vividly remember that year as one of the happiest in my school career. As I look back on that year, I remember a kind, gentle, very efficient teacher who did not have to raise her voice or ever show anger to get us to behave. We loved her dearly. Through the years she remained that same loving, gentle and truly happy person. My father remembers her especially for her kindness and thoughtfullness. She enriched the lives of all who knew her. She was a gentle saintly person who will be missed greatly. She has gone to a well-deserved reward. My deepest sympathy to her dear family and to all the sisters with whom she lived.

Dear Family,
I know your hearts are broken, especially you, Margaret. My thoughts and prayers are for all of you as you face this great loss in your life. Sr."St" Mary Louise was a wonderful person and prayed for all of us daily. She will be missed and her prayers will be missed. We are sad and grieving for ourselves now, because this is what Sr. Mary Louise lived her entire life for--to meet her precious Lord. He has called her to Him now and she is finally with Him at what must surely be a very high degree of Glory. What a truely wonderful person she was, and we can only imagine what joy she has found with her Lord and Savior.
