Patsy Stephens Obituary
BENTON, LA - Services for Patricia "Patsy" Harville Stephens will be 6:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Patton. Visitation will be prior to the service Saturday, beginning at 5 p.m. Interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Silver Creek Cemetery, Kurthwood, LA.
Patsy was born January 9, 1937 in Sarepta, LA to William Shelby Harville and Mamie Ruth Auld Harville and died January 28, 2015 in Bossier City, LA. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a dedicated school teacher for 45 years in Bossier, Caddo and Vernon Parishes. Patsy was a member of Cypress Baptist Church.
Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Overton Stephens; parents and siblings, Helen Cater, Sonny Harville, Dorothy Williams, Bill Harville, Oscar Harville and JB Harville.
She is survived by her son, Danny Stephens and wife, Vicky; daughters, Debbie Stephens Font and husband, Chris, Delisa Stephens Cohen and husband, Brett; grandchildren, Christopher Font, Sarah Font, Haley Stephens, Hunter Stephens and wife, Bailey, Grant Cohen and Blake Cohen; great granddaughter, Kinzley Grace Stephens and siblings, LM Harville and Anne Griffin.
Honoring Patsy as pallbearers will be family members.
The family suggests memorials to Silver Creek Cemetery or Cypress Baptist Church, Benton, LA.

I did not know Mrs. Stevens, but I can honestly say that after meeting her son Danny and working with him, he is a fine person, and that means she must have been a wonderful person to raise such a good man. Richard Bothel
