Margaret Linet Obituary
DEGRAFF — Margaret A. Linet, 97, of DeGraff, passed away at 2:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Logan Acres Care Center.
She was born in Logan County, Ohio, on July 25, 1920, to the late Harry R. and Sylvia E. (Campbell) Yost.
On March 21, 1941, Margaret married Lawrence E. Linet, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Linet, and a granddaughter, Amanda Foster.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Terisa (John) Myers; a son, John Linet; and a granddaughter, Lianne Linet.
A homemaker and retired cook for Riverside Schools, Margaret was a member of the DeGraff United Methodist Church. She was a 50 years member of the Miami Grange and a 75-year member of O.E.S., having belonged to Constance Chapter 78 in DeGraff, Sarah Elizabeth Chapter in West Liberty, and most recently Bellefontaine Chapter 459.
Pastor Mike Mitchell will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes St. in DeGraff, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Margaret's memory, to the Miami Grange, 6220 County Road 43, DeGraff, OH 43318 or Logan Acres Activity Fund, 2739 County Road 91, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff and online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.edsfh.com.
