Back in the 80s my son Reed Schwarz and Brian and several other CB friends their age used to play Hide & Seek around Newhall via vehicles. They would talk to each other and try to find each other. Reed was short a year of a drivers license so I did the driving after work and on weekends. They had such fun and Brian's handle was Yosemite Sam then too. He had the cutest little crush on me and fixed me dinner one night - even 'stole' a bottle of wine from his dad which I made him take back home. He had such a gentle spirit and was such a good person. So sad to hear he had such a hard time the past decade. All the good ones seem to be becoming angels.

I am in sad to hear the news of Brian's passing. I met him via the CB radio and known him by his handle of "Yosemite Sam" He was a great guy, loving friend.

Such a sad farewell to such a terrific person. Brian had a great heart and he was a wonderful friend. No guile in him whatsoever. Those of us who counted him as friends were blessed for the gift.

My prayers of comfort and peace to his mom, sister and brother and all of the extended family members. Your Brian left an indelible mark on me and I will mourn his passing.

By the grace of God, I'll see him again in Heaven and get to pick up that tremendous friendship where we left it off, so many years ago.

God Bless to all who knew and loved Brian.
