RIP, cousin Andy! Too bad we never got to know you, but I did catch up with you a few years ago by phone. To your family: Andy's mom and my dad were sister and brother. Please know you have my sympathy and are in my prayers at this most difficult time. My sister tells me Andy strongly resembles our dad, Martin Poulson, who was a state then city policeman in Springfield, and who passed away in 1945. God bless you all!

Lord, we ask your blessing today as we gather to pay our respects to another American serviceman. Give strength to his family in their time of grief.
I just saw Andy gracing our hallway the day before he was admitted to the hospital so you can imagine the shock I felt to learn he was near death last I saw him. I had the honor of sewing his American Legion Riders vest which I know gave him great pride.
Your Sister in Christ and fellow Legion Rider
