Kenneth "Butch" DeVault Sr.
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Kenneth "Butch" DeVault Sr., 70, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015, at St. John's Hospital.
Visitation: 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen St., Springfield, IL 62703.

Sorry to learn of Butch's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Butch was very talented and mechanically inclined. There weren't many things he couldn't figure out and fix. Butch and Nancy were a great team together. Take comfort in knowing they are together again in heaven.

Sorry for your loss. Butch and I went to Ridgley Grade school, Edison JR. High and Lanphier HS together. We walked to JR Hi and High school many a day. We use to go to the mine at 11th and Ridgley and shoot pigeons, and yes they didn't go to waist. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Ken and Rick, I only knew your dad through the years while you were wrestling at Lanphier but I always looked forward to seeing him and truly enjoyed visiting with him. I know how proud he was of his boys and how passionate he was about your wrestling. He was a good man and I'm sure he'll be looking over the family forever. God bless!

Sorry to read the passing of Ken. Both he and Nancy were well respected at Horace Mann for their work ethics and personalities. He had interesting stories to tell and always had good or bad comments of the happenings of the day at HME. RIP Ken.
