Doesn't seem like it's been 5 years since Larry left this world. He was such a great husband and Dad and he really loved his family. Thanks to Maureen for being an advocate for the defibulator - who knows how many lives have been saved because of her efforts. The quote of "Living Like Larry" is an inspiration to all of his friends. God Bless Larry - From Terry, Jim, Angela, Chrissy and Kylee.

Maureen and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to attend high school with Larry. I got to know him well between classes, baseball and socializing. To this day, he is still one of the best people I have ever met and had a great impact on my life. He made anyone lucky enough to know him want to be a better person just by watching how he lived his life and how he treated others. Larry was such a gentle and caring person and I and so many others will miss him very much.
I pray that God will bring you the peace and strength to make it through these difficult times.

To our dearest Uncle, Aunt, and Cousins of the Wiese Family, We are all shocked to hear of Larry's passing. He was like all Wieses... full of love, and caring for others. My thoughts go back to babysitting Larry when so small. We'd try to get he and Mike to go to bed just a couple of minutes before there required bed time and he, even 3 years old, would tell us," no I still have 2 minutes" before his appointed time... and amazingly... he was always right... We loved watching him grow up and become a great daddy to his children. God blessed us with him and all the Wieses... We were blessed to have him, if only a short time... May God send HIS peace to you as you begin to heal.
Know you are in our hearts and prayers here in MO. Let us know if there is anything we can do for any of you. love from your cousins the

A very sad day for my brother and I. We always enjoyed attending Christopher Newport basketball and volleyball games and sitting with Larry and Maureen. Often we spent more time talking and laughing than watching the game. Many times I told Larry what a great family he had and how much they loved each other. We will certainly pray for Larry and Maureen and the family.

Wiese Famly, so deeply saddened in the loss of Larry. From reading all these loving words, we all can see what a blessing he was in his short life. Larry was a role model to so many in life.
He is his earthly Father's son, so much like Merle. All your children have been nurtured and raised knowing the love of God, respect and love for each other and others. This is a tiny comfort in your grief. He is Home with our God.
May God's comfort be with you all in this loss.

I am so blessed to have known Larry and have worked for him. He was such a gentle man, an intelligent man and wonderful friend. Always with a kind word, I never heard a negative word come from his mouth. He always put others first and wanted to know what he could do to help. I've heard so many great stories the last few days from others and how much they respected and admired him. Always greeted me with a smile and when I needed something at work he was happy to help. Larry will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him. I am more than grateful, forever grateful, to have had the opportunity to know Larry. I will not forget him. Maureen, Liz and Daniel I am sorry for the loss of your husband and father. He loved you all and was proud of his children. May the Lord bring you peace and remember Larry's love, joy and kindness lives on in your hearts forever! I am happy to know that if he cannot be with us any longer, that he is with the Lord. God bless you always.

I had the pleasure of working for Larry for a year when I was an apprentice at NNS. We were also on the same NNS shipyard golf league team. In fact, we were usually paired together if we were scheduled to play on the same day. Everyone really respected and cared for Larry. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and I wish his family peace at the very difficult time.
