Margaret Farnam Obituary

SPRINGFIELD - Margaret L. Farnam, 52, of Springfield died at 7:33 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born Aug. 23, 1955, in Springfield, the daughter of William and Clara Perks Sneyd. She married Robert Farnam on March 7, 1981, in Thayer.

She was a member of Rebekkah Lodge 63.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; son, William Farnam of Springfield; three grandchildren; a brother, William Sneyd of Globe, Ariz.; a sister, Ann Lettner of Globe; several nieces and nephews; and two surrogate sons, Brian W. Spencer and John W. Cox, both of Springfield.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at Ellinger-Kunz Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, with the Rev. Stan Summers officiating. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.

maggie was in my life since I can remember. She was the one person that was there for me even when nobody else was I will miss her greatly. To the family you know I am here if you ever need to talk just call.

My heart is with Maggie's Family. She was a very loving and giving person. I have known her for as long as I can remember and she was always there for me when I needed her with open arms. We will miss her greatly.
