August Herzing Obituary
He was the husband of Patricia (nee Brennen), father of Lisa (David) Rowley, Paula and Michael (Alix) Herzing, and brother of Helen Werneth. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Tom (Patty) Brennen and Ron (Lorraine) Brennen, and sister-in-law, Catherine "Peanie" Brennen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Herzing was a member of American Legion Post 527, Hamburg Township Post 1419 VFW and Hamburg Council 2220 K of C. Mr. Herzing was a retired accountant at National Fuel.
Visiting hours were held at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg on Sunday, July 8 from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial took place at S.S. Peter & Paul RC Church, 66 East Main Street, Hamburg on Monday, July 9 at 10 a.m. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg.
Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, New York 14240.
