Aaron Miller Obituary
LAFAYETTE - Aaron D. Miller, 32, of Lafayette, died at 11:17 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth East. Born on March 14, 1979, in Plymouth, IN, he was the son of Robert Douglass Miller & Pamela Hartz Miller. He was a 1997 graduate of Culver Community High School & a 2001 graduate from the School of Technology at Purdue University. He married Amanda Hart on July 4, 2009, in Dayton, at the Dayton United Methodist Church, and she survives. He was an information technology network administrator at the MED Institute in West Lafayette, working for 10 years with the Cook Company. Aaron was a member of Delphi United Methodist Church and attended Riverside Covenant Church in West Lafayette where he was a member of the mens' Bible Study and was also a sound operator. He was also a member of the Purdue Symphonic Band. Aaron was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing, camping, hiking & biking. He also enjoyed building & flying model airplanes, gardening, had a passion for listening to & performing music, debating, politics, traveling, and had visited all but three states. Aaron loved going to church, family, friends, cooking, restoring cars & photography. Surviving with his parents & wife are a daughter, Lauren Avery Miller; sister, Cindy Miller of Culver; mother & father-in-law, Glen & Nancy Hart; and brother-in-law, Jon Hart of rural Frankfort; sister-in-law, Chrissy Drook (husband: Erik) of Lafayette; & paternal grandfather, Robert Miller of Culver. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alvin & Vona Belle Hartz, & paternal grandmother, Charmaine Miller. A memorial visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Teefey officiating. Hippensteel Funeral Home is entrusted with care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the fund for Lauren at Purdue Federal Credit Union, made payable to Amanda Miller. Never had the opportunity to know Aaron though I met him once at Riverside. I do however look forward to knowing Amanda and Lauren better in the days, weeks, months and years to come. Our family is here for whatever we can help with, whenever. So very sorry for your loss.

Aaron, we love and miss you very much. I am going to make sure that Amanda and Lauren are taken care of and I will always be there for them. We are going to tell Lauren all about you, show her pictures, videos, and always remind her how much you loved her. I don't understand why this happened, but I trust in God and know that you are with Him and that you and Amanda will be reunited again in Heaven. We're going to go to Pancake Pantry next month and Amanda and I are having peach pancakes in your honor since you loved them so much. I know you will be there with us in spirit.
