MISHAWAKA - Debra S. Weaver, 59, of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka with her loving family and friends at her bedside. Debra was born on September 12, 1952 in South Bend, IN to the late Henry and Pauline (Gilbert) Presnell. As the former Debra Jones she married James Weaver on June 7, 2000 in Mishawaka, IN. Her husband Jim and their four children, Laura (Dwayne) Wardlow, Scott (Jessica) Jones, Bill (Dawn) Weaver all of Mishawaka, IN and Elizabeth (Richard) Loy of Osceola, IN, survive Debra. Three brothers, Stephen (Cheri) Presnell of Edwardsburg, MI, Roy Presnell of South Carolina and George Presnell of South Bend, IN also survive Debra. Debra was a grandmother of ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Carol Young and Dottie Presnell, preceded Debra in death. Debra retired as a Hairdresser from "That Hair Place" after several years of service. Debra also owned and operated the Northside Tavern for 11 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Mishawaka. She enjoyed riding with her husband Jim on their Harley. Debra enjoyed going out to different establishments and listening to local bands play. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 4th with Pastor Jerry Bell officiating at the funeral home. The family is honoring Debra's wishes for cremation; burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN.
