Doris Miller Obituary
MISHAWAKA - Doris J. Miller, 82, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Sept. 10, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital surrounded by her family. Doris is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Dale; her children, Kathleen Miller of Lexington, KY, David Miller of Chalmers, IN, Douglas (Carol) Miller of Wayne, PA, Daniel (Diane) Miller of Palmhurst, TX, and Kristine (Paul) Swoveland of Lexington KY. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Kara (John) Rupcich, Ben (Joanna) Miller, Molly Miller, Brendan Miller, Ethan Miller, Dakota Miller, Cheyenne Miller, Robin Swoveland and Dora Swoveland. In addition, siblings Pam (Lewis) Reinemann of Duluth, MN, Ted (Virginia) Peeks of Chappell, NE, Veronica (Bob) Fearneyhough of Cheyenne, WY, and 11 dear nieces and nephews survive. A memorial service will be held at Hilltop Lutheran Church at 1 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2013. Memorial contributions may be made to Hilltop Lutheran Church/ Outdoor Chapel Fund, 4114 South Ironwood Rd., South Bend, IN 46614. Dear Miller Family,
Doris was always so pleasant and cheerful when we shared World Booking time. We enjoyed many meetings and reunions together. She will be greatly missed by all of us "Old World Bookers." My deepest sympathy to all the Family.

Dear Miller Family,
Doris worked in World Book with me and in late August we had a reunion. I had the opportunity to "catch up" with her again - it was great talking with her -at which time she shared about her health problems and about the upcoming surgery. I was astounded to hear from another former World Booker that she had passed away. My sympathy to all of you. May she rest in peace.

Dan, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was always so very nice to me. She was also kind to my Grandma when she was in the nursing home.

Dear Miller Family,
We were so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. She was so very sweet and thoughtful. We remember so many good times shared with all of you. Your Mom always made us feel so very welcomed and we enjoyed growing up being your neighbors and friends. Your in our thoughts and prayers.
