SOUTH BEND - Dwight C. Holland, 81, of South Bend, died at his home Tuesday, January 26, 2016. The Jasonville, IN, native was born October 27, 1934, to Seylic P. & Norna (Barley) Holland. An area resident most of his life, the avid Notre Dame fan and collector of ND memorabilia was retired and a member of Southside Church of God. In addition to his parents, Dwight was also preceded in death by his son, Dwight, Jr. in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Dianna Holland; daughters, Toni Holland & Kim Holland, both of West Terre Haute; grandchildren, Josh Phillips in California, Amanda (Dan) Deevers, Seth Gerdink and Wyatt Holland, all of West Terre Haute; Colburn (Jessica) Holland & Misty (Todd) Trame, both of Indianapolis; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brother, Farrell (Pat) Holland of Mishawaka, and sisters, Marsha (Leland) Bennett & Shari Myszak, both of South Bend. Funeral services 10:00 Friday, January 29, 2016, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., where friends may call for one hour prior to services. Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
