Ernst Schrader Obituary

Ernst K Schrader Oct. 30, 1919 - Oct. 7, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Ernst K Schrader, 95, passed away on October 7, 2015, at Tanglewood Trace Assisted Living. He was born October 30, 1919, in Hamburg, Germany. For most of the world another soul passed on, for Irene Schrader, his wife and best friend for 72 years, childhood sweetheart of 89 years; children, Hedi Johnson (Richard), Rolf Schrader (Julie) and Bernhard Schrader; grandchildren, Kris Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Valerie Schrader, Cary Malstaff, Ian Schrader, and great-grandchildren, Angel Schrader, Olivia Baldwin, Blake Malstaff and William Baldwin; the many friends that came into their lives; we admire his courage, we will miss his stories, his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. The family would like to thank the staff at Great Lakes Caring Hospice and Tanglewood Trace for their compassion and support. Prost!
