Gloria Elizabeth Zollman died February 8, 2013, of natural causes at her home in Houston, TX. Gloria was born June 19, 1930, in St. Louis, MO, to Raymond and Margaret McCrea. On July 15, 1948, she married William K. Zollman. Together they raised three children and enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Gloria also lived in Wichita, KS, and Hot Springs, AR, but always considered Houston her home.
Gloria was a passionate and talented artist, specializing in realistic watercolors. In addition to painting, she enjoyed knitting and gardening. She was also the world's greatest grandma. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Karen Hutchinson and her husband, Neil; her son, Bill Zollman and his wife, Jill; her five grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson, Meredith Penrith, Keith Zollman, Bryan Zollman, and Brittyn Gomez; her five great-grandchildren, Aida Zollman, Catherine Zollman, Leighton Hutchinson, Cordelia Zollman, and Quinn Penrith; and her sisters, Beverly Duke and Mary Ann Jessup, and their families. She also leaves behind her best friend, Suzi. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Michael, and her husband, Bill. A funeral service was held on February 13, 2013, at Forest Park East in Houston, TX.
