Joseph "Joe" Quick Sr. Jan. 16, 1953 - Dec. 18, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Joseph "Joe" Quick passed away surrounded by family at Memorial Hospital on December 18, 2014, in South Bend, IN, due to injuries he received in an accident he was involved in on November 18, 2014. He was 61. Mr. Quick was born on January 16, 1953, in South Bend, IN, to his parents, George and Betty Quick. He married Cathleen DeVos on April 14, 1973. He had his own construction business for 25 years before he started working at Forest River in Elkhart, IN. Mr. Quick loved many things in life. He loved being with his family, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, canoeing, hunting, fishing, golfing, and taking care of his cabin. Joe had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He loved to make people smile and made friends with anyone he met. He touched so many lives and was loved by many people. He will be truly missed. Mr. Quick is survived by wife, Cathleen "Cathy" of South Bend, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Jr. and Melanie of Noblesville, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Lauren of South Bend, IN; granddaughter, Madyson; and grandson, Daniel; his brothers, George (Helen), David (Karen), James (Judy), Paul (Debbie) and Pete Quick; and his sisters, Kathy Bird and Amy Radics. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty; his sister, Ruthanne (Mike) Brown; his sister, Nancy Koscher; his sister, Linda Williams; and his brother, Barry Quick. A memorial will take place on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, starting at 1:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with Daniel Scarberry presiding.
