DAVID FERRELL
MEADOR, W.Va. — David Franklin Ferrell, 54, of Meador, passed away Thurs., Nov. 20, 2014, at Pikeville Medical Center.
Born March 2, 1960, in Williamson, he was a son of Harry Ferrell of Wharncliffe and the late Romania Miller Ferrell. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Ima Miller; paternal grandfather, Elliott Ferrell, and paternal grandmother, Mary Childers.
David was a former mechanic and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his step-mother, Anna Ferrell of Wharncliffe;
one brother, Jamie Ferrell of Wharncliffe; three sisters, Regina (Gerald) Cline of Wharncliffe, Andrea (Steve) Williamson of Belfry, Ky., and Rhonda (George) Preece of Phelps, Ky.; his special friend, Anita Conn of Ransom, Ky.; nieces, Melissa Cline and Stacy Moon; great-niece, MaKinsey Cline; nephew, Josh Stump; great-nephew, Braxton Cline, and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Mon., Nov. 24, at Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Nagy officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellison Hatfield Cemetery at Newtown with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
