David Hammarberg Obituary

David K. Hammarberg, 57, of Brockton, formerly of Wareham, died Dec. 6, 2013, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Brockton. He was the husband of the late Julie M. (Peck) Hammarberg. Son of the late Harold and Shirley (Robbins) Hammarberg, he was born in Brockton and lived in Carver and Wareham before returning to Brockton. Mr. Hammarberg served in the United States Navy from 1973-1974 aboard the USS Albany. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Brockton. Mr. Hammarberg enjoyed fishing and hiking. He was a hardworking family man. Survivors include his daughter, Amanda L. Hammarberg of East Providence, RI; his son, Peter Hammarberg of Wareham; a brother, Glenn Hammarberg of Middleboro; 2 grandchildren, Gabrielle May and Jenissa Jiminez; and several nephews and nieces. His memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday. in light an loving as two brothers who do not look alike as big brother looked smaller than young brother to the times we shared a bed drew picture puzzels on each other as a nighttime passing game or one wins more drawings as as a winner or falls to sleep as my brother has gone on to sleep on first he had a big heart an his own pictures past in our lifes an hes telling his picture stories to those who gone a head to the pictures of the love that's allways there an everyones own pictures of david hamy an some picture words other people who have been there in little our picture lifes to go on your little big brother little hamy
