Diana L. Holbrook

Diana L. Holbrook, 65, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Jeffrey Holbrook. Diana was born and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Millay) Carpender. She graduated in 1968 from Brockton High School and was a stay at home mom devoted to her family. Dianas hobbies were playing bingo, watching television and solving jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her family and friends. Diana loved her children, grandchildren and animals very dearly. She will be remembered as caring, quiet and reserved woman with a big heart. Diana is survived by her children, Cheryl Holbrook of Brockton, Michele Toppan and her husband Jay of Attleboro and BarbaraJean Holbrook of Fall River; her grandchildren, Khalil, Thymanda and Rakeem Jackson, Mehgan, Shawn and Samantha Pariseau and Jalisa Sullivan, Alexus Campbell and Tyler Holbrook; her siblings, Carol Fitting of Taunton, David Carpender of New Bedford, Marianne Carpender and Bonnie Carpender both of Raynham. She was also the mother of the late Jeffrey and James Holbrook, the sister of the late Joseph Carpender and grandmother of the late Nalani Jackson. Diana also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 5-8 p.m. in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton. Burial will be at a later date in Melrose Cemetery.
