Maria S. Castignetti

Maria S. Castignetti of South Easton, formerly of Braintree, died Dec. 12, 2011, after a brief illness, at the age of 60. Beloved daughter of Katherine R. (Alberto) Castignetti and the late Livio Lee Castignetti, she was the devoted sister of Adele Doucette and her husband Roger of Brockton, Lee Castignetti and his wife Laurie of Braintree, Gerry Castignetti and his wife Sondra of Canton and Albert Castignetti and his wife Nancy of Franklin, Tenn.; dear companion of Stephen Perrin of South Easton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Maria graduated from Braintree High School and worked as a payroll accountant. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, until 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
