Spent 2 days on a train with Paul and 100 or so men/boys headed to Parris Island, then 8 weeks in training. Bright, personable, talented man. Also worked with him for a few years with Otis Elevator along with 2 other men who coincidentally, had made the same trip with him to PI. So sorry for your loss. Semper Fi

Paul was my neighbor for the past year and a half since I moved to the Idlewell neighborhood. The first day I moved in he introduced himself to my brother and father and told them “I have every tool you could ever need. If you need anything and the garage door is open, just come knock - I’m here.” I loved seeing Paul work on things in his driveway. My pupper Jasper and I would stop and chat every time we were out for a walk. I even taught Paul the concept of adulting (being a grown up and doing adult like things), which seemed to tickle him greatly. Paul felt like an unofficial grandpa to me and I know he was always keeping an eye out for me - which I appreciated, but I think my Dad appreciated even more. Going to miss him lots. I hope you and your family can find some peace in this hard time. Sending you healing thoughts and love.

My deepest condolences to Paul's family at this very difficult time. I not only knew Paul as his onetime letter carrier, but also as a comrade as a member of the VFW in Weymouth. He was huge in trying to save and restore the Weymouth VFW; however, the bldg was too far gone to do so. A great guy, with a great love for his family,
his motorcycle, his dog and for helping fellow veterans. Rest in peace comrade.
