Danny Hawkins Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Danny Roger Hawkins, 63, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2018, after a brief illness. Born September 15, 1955, he was the son of the late Fred and Mary Price Hawkins.
Danny was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. A big wrestling fan and 'humorous and happy spotlight' during all occasions, he was loved by all he met, along with his special cats, Rod and Chrissy. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his brothers, Joseph Hawkins, Sr. (Marilyn), Ray Edwards (Jane), Jimmy Edwards (Margaret) and sister, Dianne Faulkner (Bibbles), all of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Joseph 'Jo-Jo' S. Hawkins, Jr., Travis Faulkner (Kristin), Jason Faulkner, Chris Edwards (Laurie); nieces, Angela Reece, Star Edwards (Mark); seven great-nephews and nine great-nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Joey E. McKinney. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
The family will be at their respective homes.
