David Weeks Obituary

GAFFNEY, SC-- David F. Weeks, Jr., 84, of 369 Dry Fork Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Brookview Healthcare Center.Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was the son of the late David F. Weeks, Sr. and Winnie Weeks and husband of Lorene Sparks Weeks. He was first married to the late Mary Louise Jones Weeks. He was a retired USDA Inspector for Brown Packing Company and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, having served in World War II. Mr. Weeks was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Barry Weeks, and his wife, Linda, of Orangeburg, SC, and David Weeks and wife, Nancy of Rock Hill, SC; two step-daughters, Reba Patterson, and husband, Paul Patterson, and Nancy Garvin, all of Gaffney; a sister, Flossie W. Jones, of Orangeburg, SC; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.The family will receive friends anytime at the residence. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Crestlawn Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC.Memorials may be made to Meals-On-Wheels, P. O.
