Mrs. McGeady (Wanda)
I write this through my tears.
I just found out about John's passing. I am in shock. John and I shared a moment in time that I will never forget. Words can't express my sadness for you and your family at this time. I know how much John meant to you and he loved both you and Joe so very much. You all will be in my pryayers. My God cosole you all at this time and hold John forever in his arms.
In sympathy,
Gina (Streamwood IL)

Dear McGeady Family,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of growing up in Spartanburg. I can remember both Joe and John and just doing simple things that children do for fun like riding our bikes. I'll be thinking about all of you during this difficult time. My mother (Pauline L) certainly enjoyed getting to know John over the past year. I now live outside of Columbia with my husband and two children (18 and 13)

Dear Mr. and Mrs. McGeady and Joe,
I am sorry to hear about John's passing. I grew up with John during our days in Duncan Park. I'll always remember his fun loving spirit and his ability to make people around him laugh. I am thankful John and I had an opportunity to embrace and tell each other we loved one another, just a few short days before he passed. John will always hold a special place in my heart. My love and prayers go out to you all. I will miss you John! Lynda Alexander

Wanda and Joe, I am so sorry about John. I have known John a long time and I know he will be missed by many. My heart goes out to you. I cannot imagine the pain that you are going through. As parents we do not expect to outlive our children. Wanda, I am here for you day or night and you know how to reach me. Again, I am so sorry.
