Mary H. Avery
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Mary H. Avery, of 804 Ridgedale Drive, Spartanburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice. The daughter of late Johnnie Mae Eison and Willie Eison, she was married to James Avery.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Katina Gentry of Moore; two sons, Rockreggin Brown and Jesse Brown, both of Spartanburg; five sisters, Kathy Means of Cowpens, Linda Almalik, Willie Mae Sims, Sheila Gist, and Audrey Eison, all of Spartanburg; one brother, Darrell Eison; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Pacolet.
The family will be receiving friends at the home.
E. L. Collins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
