My Love Always and Forever

August 2, 2009

August 2, 2009

Bob, my love, my husband, my soulmate. Not a day go by that I yearned to hear your voice. I miss you so very much. I know they say the pain gets better with time. I'm adjusting. There are times I cry out for you. You were my rock. You were my reason for living. My love for you is an everlasting love. Bob I play your music to communicate with you, and then I laugh at such good times we had. You always ask me "Do you Love me "? Baby I fell in love with you from the time I saw you at 16 when you was performing on stage, and I told you to get off. You embarrassed me, but I laughed and said to myself, one day we will meet again. WE DID!! Baby we will meet again! Remember our song, Always and Forever!! Forever my love, until we are together again.

To Aunt Jackie, Bobbie, and Kima, my love and prayers will always be with you. We all grew up so closely together cousins and it is a shame that we have to go through this painful experience of losing our fathers at a young age. Although times will be difficult and you may feel as though you can't go on, always look to GOD because he will continue to lead you down the brightened path. I apologize for not being there with you all through this time. However, I was feeling the same pain in my heart as you all were and continue to do. Just remember to always keep the faith and that I love you all very much.

I love you Uncle Bob and I always will! Love Toot

Daddy,
I never thought that I would have to walk this path along side my sister and mom. Sometimes I feel cheated, I've only had you in my life for twenty three years, which is not long enough at all. You had just given me words of encouragement and ending it with the words of loving me and being so proud of me. To be honest daddy, I'm proud of you. I'm proud of you being the man you were and the man I will remember. I am proud of your talent for music, I am proud of the love you had for us and for my mom, and I am mostly proud of never giving up on us. I have always been daddy's little girl and I will remain that way until I close my eyes for the last time. And when I finally take that last walk with the Lord, I hope that you are there holding my hand and letting me know that everything will be alright, like you use to tell me. For I am heart broken now, I know my pain will not last long, it will only get better with time. For I will let you know you were my heart, my first love as the man my husband will become, and my daddy. I love you with all of my heart, mind, and soul. Rest in peace daddy, rest for me. I love you.

Bobbie and Takima Porter

A message from Bobbie and Takima: "What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget." We miss you and we love you dearly. May you rest in peace daddy.

Bobbie and Tamika - No one else can understand the way you're feeling now, though family, and friends and memories will help you through somehow... But time will ease your Father’s loss, for your sorrow may remain, but the love he left inside your heart will take away the pain. With caring thoughts and deepest sympathy at this time- please take some comfort in knowing how many thoughts are with you every day. When the joys are still remembered but the sorrow has quietly gone, there will always be a special place in the heart —where love lives on. May your special memories be a comfort to you at this time in sweet memory of your father!
My thoughts and prayers will remain always!

Jackie! Bob is only away, he has not really left you- he has only gone away on a long and different journey... and you'll meet again one day... he is only away in your thoughts but in your heart you are always together, never apart; in your sorrow, remember! he's only away though he may not be with you, the memories stay he has not really left you- though it seems you had to part from each other, Jackie take comfort that you'll always find him hidden in your heart... and, in time, when the hurt isn't too much to bear, whenever you look in your heart, he'll be there!
Let each tear that falls be a gentle reminder that you and Rebop made such a meaningful difference in each other's lives –two beautiful daughters and that is a gift that no loss or sorrow, or time or distance can ever take away.

Jackie please accept these words of sympathy, sent with such warmth from me and my family- and remember, in your saddest hours, he is just away!
With Deepest Sympathy
A Friend Forever!
