Dolores Elaine Campbell, age 85, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, October 14, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on October 29, 1932, in Genesee, Idaho to Clayton and Nellie Mulalley. She was raised on a farm and attended school in both Genesee and Troy, Idaho. She finished her schooling in Troy where she met her future husband, Howard Gordon Campbell.
After marrying Howard, they moved their young family to Spokane in 1955 where Howard soon found work as a carpenter. She worked at the Spokane Credit Union, Sears, and eventually became a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Rockwood Manor. Her great love in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The beautiful flower gardens she maintained on their property were a visual delight to all who visited. Her beautiful smile, kindness and delicious cooking for her family will be eternally missed.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Howard; her four children, Daniel, Daryl, David, and Steven; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry and Ronny; two sisters, Jeanette (Peachy) and Mary Jean, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy and Betty Ann, and her brother Mickey.
Memorial services will be held on October 29th at 1:30pm at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way.
