Frank FLETCHER Obituary

FLETCHER, Frank
(Age 86)

Was born May 18, 1930 in Wilmar, Arkansas and passed away with his loving wife, children, grandchildren and brother-in-law by his side on August 24, 2016. His very short battle with cancer paused a life that included years of being a painter, restaurateur, ordained minister, Bible teacher and proud owner of Fletcher's BBQ Sauce. It is only a pause because he had faith in the promise of the resurrection and believed in his heart that after his death he would sleep a short time then be awakened by his Heavenly Father Jehovah and enjoy life once again, forever. He used his life trying to make life better for those around him and sharing that hope. All who knew him knew his main focus in life was to follow Christ's example in preaching God's Kingdom from door to door, city to city as well as to the Geiger and Spokane County Jail inmates. No one was left out in receiving the Word of God from Frank. "He did just so." Frank is survived by his wife of three years Patricia Fletcher; five children: Chuck Fletcher (Charlene), Frances Perkins, Antonio Fletcher, Wayne Fletcher, Lori Hill (Nathan); four step-children: Sheri Jones (Russell), Sid Brant, Curtis Watters, Steven Annis as well as grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Shawn, April, Heather, Davina, Anthony, BJ, Nicole, Nathan, Natasha, Danielle, Michael, Jessica, Micayla, Candra, Christopher, Alexander, Victoria, Marina, Jolee, Taima, Sierra, 31 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 13 siblings, four children and his wife Blanche of 55 years. Please join us for a Memorial Service and reception to be held Saturday, September 10th, 2016, Rogers High School, 1622 E. Wellesley Avenue, Spokane, WA in the Commons Area from 3-5pm. With the vast number of Frank's family and friends local attendees are being asked to please bring a dish (disposable container please) to share with others at the reception. Thank you all very much. Special thanks to Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home and the innumerable brothers and sisters in Jehovah's Organization.

To all the Fletcher family. May you get through the days ahead with happy memories of Frank and know that you will see him again. He was a wonderful man to my mom Hazel, sister Liz and myself for many years and would drop anything to help others at any time. I truly look forward to seeing him again as Jehovah has promised and Frank too believed in that promise. Take care, each and every one of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Frank through my friendship with Chuck. My heart goes out to all of his family but I know the faith he brought to their lives will sustain them during this time of sorrow knowing that one day they will be reunited in a better place.
