WOLF, Ione
August 3, 1919 - June 11, 2011
Ione Wolf (91) went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2011 as the result of a massive stroke. Because of the loving care she received from her guardian angel, Pam, and the help of so many from Samaritan North Lincoln Hospice, she was with loved ones at home.
Ione was born August 3, 1919 in Naples, Idaho to Agness and Jesse Finney. She grew up in Rathdrum, Idaho and graduated from high school in May, 1937. She married Raymond "Boots" Wolf in November, 1937 and had one daughter in November, 1938. She was widowed in 1953 and started working in the local bank. Later, she moved to Spokane, Washington, where she worked her way up in the Seattle First National Bank and retired in 1980 as a Vice president of Operations at the Kennewick, WA branch. Not only was she a leader at work but also in her family, being the middle of three girls.
Ione moved to Lincoln City, Oregon in 1989. She lived with her younger sister, Marie, in Spokane, WA from 2005 to 2007, when they both moved back to Lincoln City, OR. In July of 2008 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior under the guidance of Pastor Bard Marshall. Everyone she met commented on her beautiful white hair, her expressive blue eyes, her compassion and care of others, and her great sense of humor.
