Fond memories of funny Jon from Monrovia High School and after when he became a single dad. I'll never forget his protest against the VW war - he drove a sound truck playing Christmas carols around his army base with the sign he added, Stop the War. Priceless. !!

I will always remember you playing the guitar by the fire. During get togethers with my parents Linda and Larry. While I danced in the backyard.

Dear Dad,
You were with me when I came into this world and I was with you exiting this this form of existence. What an amazing teacher you were for me and many others. I will be forever great-full for our life experiences Together. Every cotton picking moment. And thank you for playing guitar to me every night as a child. I felt your love with every song you sang. Your forever in my Heart.
I found a poem you wrote on a little scap piece of paper being used as a book marker.
This is how I would die
Into the Love I have for You
As pieces of a cloud
Dissolve in Sunlight
This is precisely how you transitioned from this world to the Next
Played your favorite song Sound of Silence by Disturbed. Hope it wasn't too loud. Also Yngwie Malmsteen Prelude to April.
Love you to infinity and beyond
Your daughter

Years ago in anther lifetime, I was married to Jon. He was a sweet man who brought amazing daughters into this world. My step-daughter Chalon and my daughter Katrina. I am grateful to have these two women in my life because of him. There is a book of poems title There Are Men Too Gentle To Live Among Wolves by James Kavanaugh. I always felt this book described him. Many Blessings Jon.

Jon, You certainly weren't afraid to do and see things your way. Thank you for being such a fine teacher, friend and father-in-law. And thank you for bringing Chalon into the world and having so many fun times with us. You will always be remembered with much love. Robbi
