Mrs. Rehn was my Senior English teacher in 64-65. Some of us in the class tried to take advantage of her early on, but we soon thought better of it! She was kind and generous, even loaned me her personal car to take my drivers test! Thank you Mrs. Rehn! My sincere condolences to Kendall and her family.

She was a living epitome of class, sophistication and vigor. I had the blessing of dressing Mary Jane's hair twice a week for 30 years. She was a friend, confidante and a down right fantastic lady. I learned so much from her through simple conversation than I ever did in school. Her wit and charm were undeniable.
Mary Jane has left this world in better condition than she found it.... My heart aches from missing her but I know there is a special place for her next to Ronald in heaven

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of our dear Mrs.Rehn...we could call her Mary Jane, but to all of us who were so blessed to have had her in our lives, she was our 'royalty' and we respectfully call her Mrs. Rehn.I had Mrs. Rehn all four years of high school for English... because I WANTED to be in her class. She was amazing...and she cared. She truly wanted to know how her students thoughts...why we were and who we were. We all felt like extended family to her...OH!...and speaking of class, boy did she have it! Always lovely...always gracious...always put her best foot forward. So much could be said...and so much will. She touched us all and made us better people for it. Such a joy in my life and a role model I cherished. I will miss her, but never will I forget.
All my best,

Oh, Mrs. Rehn - how do I adequately express the influence you had on my life? You were the epitome of class, grace, intellect and love. You taught me more than you'll ever know, and influenced me to become a teacher as well. You are so loved. Thank you for touching the lives of so many.

I had the pleasure of being one of Mrs Rehns student at Medical Lake High school in English as a freshman 1979 . She made English fun, made the mandatory reading less painful and interesting. She will be missed
