News Death Notice

RYON, Jessica Anne 31, of Springfield passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 1, 2014 in her home. She was born March 31, 1983 in Springfield the daughter of Timothy A. and Sally J. (Rudawski) Ryon. Jessica was a 2001 graduate of North High School, attended Community Hospital and Clark State Schools of Nursing, and was a member of Highlands United Church of Christ. She is survived by her parents; her grandmothers, Doris Ryon and Ruth Rudawski; brother and sister-in-law Scott A. and Courtney Ryon; was a loving aunt to Madilyn and Audrey Ryon, all of Springfield; aunts Sandra Ryon, Holly (Jim) McCutcheon, Linda Rudawski, Joyce (Ellis) Hart, Vicki (Rick) Farris and Karen (Merrill) Karlen; uncle Guy Rudawski; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Albert R. Ryon and George N. Rudawski; and her best friend and fiancé Donald Robinson. Jessica will be sadly missed by her family and the many friends she made through her life path. We take solace in knowing she was happy when she left this world to live in eternal peace. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM. in Highlands United Church of Christ, 1910 St. Paris Pike, Springfield, with Pastor Avery Sledge officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Jessica's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 706 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We know the pain, shock, and tremendous grief you are experiencing as we lost a son at the age of 29 almost 3 years ago. Lean on your family and friends for their love and support, cherish your memories, and know she is in a better place. Sally, Tim, and Scotty I cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the loss of Jess!!! She was my best friend for many years and your family was my second family, I am completely crushed!!
