Vlahos, Alexander J.
Alexander J. Vlahos, 60, of Stratford CT recently passed away at his home. Alex is the youngest of 3 children born and raised in Stamford, CT.
Alex worked for the Stamford US Post Office for many years and in his free time enjoyed music, photography and long walks with his dog, Barney.
Alex will be missed by his older brother, Charles Vlahos of New Fairfield and his middle brother, Stephen Vlahos of Clearwater, FL, his sister-in-laws Charlene Vlahos, Lucia Vlahos and Eleanor McBrien and his nephew Charles Vlahos, JR along with other family members and friends.
Alex is predeceased by his wife Mary McBrien Vlahos, his mother, Anna Vlahos and father Charles Vlahos.
Calling hours are 4-6pm at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

To the Vlahos family our condolences on Alexs' passing. Alex was our good friend for years. It was through Alex I met my wife Donna,we are so grateful for this.In years past we had many fun times growing up. Over the years we lost touch and hadn't seen each other but Alex was thought of often. I wish we kept in touch.Alex was a caring,fun loving person may he rest in peace.

My sympathy to the Vlahos family in the loss of Alex. I worked at the Postal Service with Alex and over the years developed a real bond with him. He was a unique individual and somehow managed to keep a smile on his face and never took things too seriously. He will truly be missed.
