Gregory Katsaros Obituary
Gregory P. Katsaros, 42, of Stamford passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Stamford on October 2, 1976 to Peter and Paula Pahoulis Katsaros.
Gregory was a devoted Christian. He traveled to Africa as a Missionary distributing clothes and food to needy children.
Besides his parents Peter and Paula Pahoulis Katsaros, Gregory also leaves behind his sister Christina Pahoulis and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. for a funeral service to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's RC Church, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gregory's memory to The Herren Project, c/o Hope for Recovery, P.O Box 131, Portsmouth, RI 02871

My deepest and heartfelt condolences, to your Father, family and friends. I wish for them to find comfort in the love you shared and many memories you've created. I wish I was saying hello, instead of goodbye. I will hold on to all of the memories, the good and especially the funny. Greg, you had the biggest heart and your silly love of ears will forever be a trade mark. I know that your family meant the world to you, so I have no doubts you will watch over them from the other side. I do pray that you rest easily, find peace and hopefully know how much you are loved and will truly be missed.

I have known you for years and met Gregory years ago where we bonded. I loved him so much and I was saddened by his sudden loss. May God comfort you and give you all the strength to overcome this difficult journey.
