I´m very sorry for your loss! Mrs Tibbett´s was such a special person. She was my third grade teacher and piano teacher for for 9 years. My mom had a massive heart attack about 20 years ago and I remember seeing Mrs. Tibbett´s at the Stamford Hospital where she volunteered. It was the first time we´d seen each other in years and I remember her giving me a giant hug. I will carry great memories of her with me!

I,too, am sorry to read about "Tish'. That is how I always knew her. We had many connections and one being as Steve Simmons wrote was with boy scout troup 1. What a great group that was . The other connection was because we both had twins. Our son Scott was friendly with Richard. Tish and I became friendly through all of this. She will be missed by so many. Fondly

I´m so sorry for your loss. I remember Mrs. Tibbetts so fondly. She had a huge influence in my life and inspired me to become a first grade teacher myself. Mrs. Tibbetts was my first grade teacher at Northeast Elementary School, and as luck would have it, she then switched grades and I was able to have her as my third grade teacher as well. She truly cared about her students and treated us as if we were her own kids.
I loved reading about her amazing life. I´m sure she was a blessing to so many.
Again, my deepest condolences.

I extend my condolences to the Tibbetts family over passing of Mrs. Tibbetts. I knew her son Richard from the Troop 1 BSA. Both Mr. and Mrs. Tibbetts always gave us rides to the Order of the Arrow. May these good memories console you in this time of sadness.
