Peter Szilagyi Obituary
Peter Szilagyi, 83 Passed away peacefully on Dec. 3rd 2014 at home.
He was a well-respected Consulting Architectural Engineer who, along with his wife Klara, designed many of the existing high rise buildings in downtown Stamford.
He was a classic European gentleman who led his family without belongings out of Hungary during the revolution in 1956 to settle in Stamford, CT. in 1958
He was an avid long island sailor belonging to the Stamford Yacht Club, loved exploration and travel and inquisitively searched to expand his horizons. Peter obtained a commercial Pilot's license and enjoyed the freedom of flight.
Peter is survived by his former wife Klara Szilagyi, current wife; Sanaba Magasso. His daughters: Agnes Peterson, son-in-law Donald and Petra Szilagyi, Brother Dr. Istvan Szilagyi and wife Irene, granddaughter Corey Peterson.

Funeral Services will be private. The Family will hold a memorial celebration of his life at a future date.
