I have been friends and neighbors with the family for my entire life and grew up down the street from their East Hunting Ridge Road home. My late patents and my brothers and sisters all adored Steve. We would see him often at my parents house and he always had such a great warmth about him. To the Blazey Family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Steve's passing. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Steve was a generous man - with his friendship, his time, his smile, his sense of humor, his heart. His was a life well-lived and well-loved. Many years ago, when we were all much younger, Steve worked at night plowing the roads of Stamford; I was lucky because he plowed the road on which I lived. I will never forget waking up at night, listening for the sound of Steve's truck lumber by and feeling comforted, safe and secure. This quiet, constant gift of comfort he gave to all of us over the years in a myriad of ways. Thank you, Steve. All my love,
