Linford Charles Age 80, of Rt. #2, Gillett, Pa., formerly of Osceola, Pa. Tuesday July 23, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY. He was born May 28, 1922 in Whitesville, NY. the son of Charles & Mary Baker Bledsoe. He retired after working for over 34 years for Corning Inc. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Audrey Glover Bledsoe, son & daughter-in-law Linford & Carol Bledsoe, Jr., Montoursville, Pa., sons; Leigh Bledsoe, Williamsport, Pa., Gary Bledsoe, Columbia, Missouri, James Bledsoe, Gillett, Pa., and John Bledsoe & JoAnne Clark, Osceola, Pa. Daughter & son-in-law Marilyn & Frank Purcell, Gillett, Pa., Sister Mrs. Harry Grace Erwin, Jackson, Ohio, Sister-in-law Kathleen Bledsoe, Olean, NY. 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. He was preceded in death by a Brother, Leigh Bledsoe & Sister, Mrs. Jack Florence Austin. Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home Inc., #214 West Main Street, Elkland, Pa.
