Richard Jewell Obituary
Born June 8, 1937, in Worcester, Mass., he was the son of the late Harold Jewell and Beatrice Mary Flynn Holmes.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked for many years for ARA Vending Services.
He is survived by a daughter, Laura May Jewell; a son, Gregory W. Jewell; five grandchildren, Alexandria May Ellis, Victoria Jewell-Schenker, Lillie Caroline Jewell, Trevor William Jewell and Amber Patton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2017, at 2 p.m., Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Beulah. Rev. Ignacio Goya will officiate.
Arrangements are in the care of Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.
