Thomas Moore Obituary

Thomas Clay Moore, age 91 of Easton, MD passed away peacefully at Talbot Hospice in Easton on October 17, 2023. Tom was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 21, 1931. He served in the Army for three years during the Korean War from 1953 to 1957. With the help of the GI Bill, he attended and graduated from Adelphi University in Long Island, NY. Tom was hired in 1964 by Goddard Space Flight Center as a Mission Operations Support Manager. He worked on various scientific missions, until he retired in 1994. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley E. Moore, his children; Thomas Clay Moore Jr. (Susan), Donna Moore, Lisa Anne Moore and Thomas Foster Moore (Alicia) and his grandchildren; Melissa Nigro, Annebelle Moore, Brittany Wrzesien, Jack Moore and Lily Moore. Tom enjoyed oil painting, traveling, vegetable gardening, swimming and activities with his children and grandchildren.
