PETRI Helen M. Petri Linden resident, 90 Mrs. Helen M. Dragan Petri, 90, of Linden died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke St., Linden, on Friday, Sept. 7, at 9 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered in St. John the Apostle R.C. Church, Clark-Linden, at 10 a.m. Entombment is in Rosedale Memorial Park, Linden. Visiting hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Petri moved to Linden in 1950. She was employed as a bookkeeper for the Singer Manufacturing Co., Elizabeth, for 15 years, retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Friends of the Linden Library and AARP, chairwoman of the Community Affairs and a member of the Retired Exxon Womens Sunshine Club. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Petri, who died in 1990. Surviving are one son, Michael Petri of Linden; a granddaughter, Michele Salazar, and she was the loving great-grandmother of Ashley Rota and Ethan Salazar; loving aunt of Msgr. Chet Moczydlowski of Myrtle Beach, Dr. Edward Dragan of Lambertville, Susan Hanson of Colorado and Marianne Nelson of Flemington.
