Mildred Marie Krazer Troeller

Mildred Marie Krazer Troeller died May 18, 2009, in her home in Freedom, Calif. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William Troeller, and daughters, Kathleen, Deborah and Barbara. Born on Feb. 13, 1925, in St. Louis, Mo., to Walter and Anna Marie Krazer, Mrs. Troeller grew up in the St. Charles, Mo., area. She married Bill Troeller in 1949. They settled in Somerset, N.J., where Bill worked for GM. Millie worked as an executive secretary while raising her three daughters, eventually retiring from Amtrak in the 1980s. Mrs. Troeller was a member of New Brunswick's St. Peter's Catholic Church and Somerset's St. Matthias. She was a soloist in both choirs as well as the Rutgers Chorale, for which she performed at Carnegie Hall. Her favorite music was sacred, and theatrical, which led to her performing in several NJ community theater productions. Following retirement, the Troellers moved to Freedom, Calif., in 2001. A Memorial Mass will be held on June 16 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Watsonville, Calif. A life celebration service is pending. For more information, see Legacy.com.
